Responsibility

  • actively involved in recruitment and strategic planning with the Managing Director and Director of Operations
  • managing the Advocacy Service delivery – both spot purchase and contracted services
  • managing the team of advocates, including supervision and providing support around best practice
  • managing referrals and client allocation with the Operation and Administration Coordinator
  • direct delivery when needed, including cover for holidays, sickness and in other extenuating circumstances
  • in person supervision, both group and individual, as well as offering ongoing support to the team members
  • managing team training and our training matrix, including sourcing potential training opportunities and providing training where appropriate
  • IMCA Report auditing and processing on an ongoing basis

Requirements

  • proven management experience
  • excellent communicator and ability to work collaboratively in a tight knit team
  • independent Advocacy Qualification
  • relevant experience delivering IMCA & RPR and/or other forms of advocacy
  • organized and motivated
  • own car & willingness to travel for work
  • comfortable working from home/remotely and managing your own schedule
  • genuine team player who appreciates and understands what it’s like to manage a diverse team
