Responsibility
- to undertake agreed cleaning/janitorial tasks not included in the school cleaning specification, including emergency cleaning as required
- to carry out repairs and maintenance which are not beyond the scope of a competent DIY person
- to lock/unlock school premises at agreed times
- to act as keyholder and be available for ‘callouts’ out of normal working hours
- to clear up paved areas and playgrounds
- to be responsible for premises security and its contents in the absence of any other designated responsible person
- to ensure the safe maintenance of premises, plant, machinery and equipment, repairing basic damage/wear and tear, reporting back to management as required
- moving furniture and equipment around the school premises as required
Requirements
- must be able to pass a DBS criminal record check
- must pass a reference check
- must be competent as basic DIY tasks
- must hold a valid Driving Licence
