Responsibility

  • responsible for ensuring that the health and safety of children, clients, and team are met at all times and maintaining both the site’s and team’s compliance with all policies and procedures

Requirements

  • competent Teaching ability
  • PE or Sports Degree, Level 2 Sports qualification or QTS certificate
  • A minimum of 2-years of teaching experience in UK primary schools
  • valid DBS clearance
  • excellent behaviour management skills
  • confidence to deliver PE lessons to groups of up to 30 primary children with and without a Teaching Assistant
  • UK primary school teaching: 2 years

lifeguard

Responsibility

  • monitor pool area to prevent accidents and respond quickly to emergencies
  • enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons
  • conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • provide excellent experiences for children in a fun, safe and engaging environment
  • perform first aid and CPR when necessary
  • maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and rescues
  • participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on safety protocols
  • assist with pool maintenance tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • previous lifeguarding experience
  • strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety practices
  • excellent communication skills to effectively interact with swimmers and team members
  • ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations
  • knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to perform CPR
  • familiarity with compliance management related to pool safety regulations
