Requirements

  • chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council
  • meng or MSc in Mechanical, Electrical OR Building Services Engineering
  • member of an appropriate professional body
  • design consultancy or main contracting background is preferred
  • leadership and people management of teams with technical expertise
  • advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, legal requirements, and regulations
  • off-site construction is advantageous
  • experienced in managing delivery and execution of building services installations through contractors on a Design & Build and Traditional basis

Responsibility

  • ensure the design team has the robust tools and processes to deliver design compliant to requirements. Leverage tools and process to increase efficiency, maximise automation and deliver right first time
