Requirements
associate’s degree in accounting, or business, or related field is preferred
5 years of experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience in the construction industry
exceptional organization, analytical, problem solving, and communications skills are important
familiarity with construction accounting concepts, tax strategies, and best practices

procuring Groundworks and RC frame materials and services requested by site teams via Material Requisition Forms, or as directed by senior members of the management team
working with Estimators to negotiate and confirm Groundworks and RC frame material costs for tenders
negotiating payment terms and rebates; and creating robust contractual arrangements with their supply chain to ensure positive outcomes in terms of cost, time quality, and safety
assisting in the development of IT systems to improve procurement and supply

risk and value management of tenders. This includes identifying and advising internal teams on potential risks and opportunities in a tender/project
investigate and price Value Engineering costs where applicable
attend pre-contract meetings, liaise with a wide range of construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of agreed actions
become the point of contact with clients including raising & answering queries etc
communicate effectively at all times with both clients and internal company departments
ensure accurate tracking of all tender documentation
Requirements
knowledge of SMM / NRM essential & RICS membership advantageous
candidate should be familiar with Groundworks, Enabling works, Drainage, Foundation works, Basements, Infrastructure and Roads
strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop relationships
