Responsibility
- defining functional and regulatory requirements for projects in area of expertise
- following Leap Engineering process for New Product Development and Engineering Change Management
- management and prioritisation of work to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
- leading and participating in design reviews
- drafting of electrical schematics
- CAD modelling and layout of electrical assemblies
- selection of electrical components for inclusion in design
- bill of materials creation and maintenance
Requirements
- degree qualified in electrical or electronics engineering
- chartered Engineer IET
- more than 6 years of electrical design engineering experience
- experience working with multidiscipline design and systems
- strong background in component selection for electrical systems
- knowledge and understanding of electrical design for EMC
- strong background in designing for manufacture and production
- site experience and troubleshooting
