- develop and maintain user-facing features for our web applications, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive across various devices
- this will be based on the success and growth of the team
- collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional, scalable, and efficient code
- write clean, modular, and efficient code using the latest web technologies, frameworks, and best practices
- this is an office based role, and so commuting to Gloucester on a daily basis is an essential requirement
- optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
- conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure seamless functionality and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
Requirements
- proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of web development projects
- proficient knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other web technologies
- experience with UI/UX design principles
- familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node.js or PHP
- knowledge of SEO best practices
- solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- ability to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills
