Responsibility

  • purchase Ledger including supplier payments
  • sales Ledger
  • bank Reconciliation
  • VAT Return
  • banking
  • petty Cash and Expense management
  • assisting in the updating of cash flow reports, budgets and forecasts
  • provide support where required for Payroll, weekly stocktakes, as well as supporting the accountant to produce regular management accounts

Requirements

  • bookkeeping experience essential, ideally including both purchase and sales ledger
  • knowledge of hospitality accounting practices and procedures
  • excellent written and verbal communication
  • great attention to detail
  • able to prioritise workload
  • commercial and business awareness
  • proficient in Xero
  • accounting: 2 years
