Responsibility
- we are currently seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our highly busy fast-fit depot in Aberdeen
- perform MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines and regulations
- this is a full-time position that requires a motivated and dedicated individual with experience in conducting MOT tests
- conduct thorough inspections and examinations of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and emissions standards
- some Saturday work will be required to accommodate customer demand
- identify and document any defects or issues that may affect the vehicle's roadworthiness
- provide accurate and detailed reports to customers regarding the results of the MOT tests
- communicate effectively with customers, addressing their questions and concerns regarding the MOT process
Requirements
- valid MOT Tester certification
- proven experience in conducting MOT tests
- strong knowledge of DVSA guidelines and regulations
- excellent attention to detail and ability to identify vehicle defects
- effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- flexibility to work some Saturdays as needed
