LAUNDE ABBEY TRUST is looking for employees for positions:

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • attending the weekly Operations Meeting to discuss the requirements of upcoming bookings and to contribute to planning for events
  • working with the Operations Manager to determine future scheduling requirements, and to develop policy and working procedures
  • ensuring effective stock management and ordering within the allocated budgets
  • effectively managing staff holidays and other absence
  • working with the Operations Manager and the Dining-room and Housekeeping shift leaders to ensure schedules are in place, team members are briefed of their duties and each day’s operations area directed to meet the needs of our guests and visitors
  • contributing to the recruitment and training process for new team members as and when required
  • working closely with the Head Chef and Kitchen Team to ensure a smooth running, high quality meal service is provided to our guests in the dining room, café and coffee areas
  • ensuring that processes are in place to maintain an environment that is both safe, and in which housekeeping and dining tasks are carried out to an appropriate level of quality
