Responsibility

• we are looking for drivers based out of the Weybridge area to deliver parcels for UPS contract
• safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations

• perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality
• load and unload cargo using manual or mechanical equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts
• plan and optimise delivery routes to ensure the most efficient use of time and resources
• plan routes and navigate through traffic to meet delivery schedules
• plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure placement
• communicate with customers and clients in a professional and courteous manner
• verify the contents of each shipment against delivery documents
• accurately verify and match delivery documents with packages to ensure correct order fulfillment
• maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, invoices, and delivery logs
• maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
• effectively communicate and coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery instructions and updates
• adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road

• provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
• assist with warehouse duties as needed
