Responsibility
- general Scope of the Position
- we are looking for a Part- Time chef for our Care Home based in Langley. We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to work weekends as well as cover annual leave and absence
- JOB TITLE: Cook reporting to Home Manager
- the post holder is accountable to the Manager for providing a catering service for the Home and where necessary the provision of meals for functions and visitors to the Home
- to understand the need to promote the privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment of all Service users treating everyone with respect
- cooperate fully with the statutory inspections and implement recommendation as appropriate
- to work with the Kitchen Assistant to ensure daily washing and cleaning of floors, crockery, utensils, work surfaces and other kitchen equipment to ensure necessary hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen
- ensure menus are displayed showing choices
