Responsibility
- planning all filling / packing activity to ensure that customer requirements are met
- planning the timing of production runs specific to product / pack size as well as machine setup / changeover as needed
- learning the machines; their operation, basic maintenance and ensuring regular wash downs are carried out
- ensuring that all finished product and goods in are stored appropriately
- ‘Masterminding’ the filling / packing operations and ensuring that the machines are run in the most efficient manner
- ensuring that all records are kept to ensure compliance with ISO22241 and any other required quality assurance or other standard
- working with the Health, Safety and Environment Manager to ensure all Health and Safety and Environmental requirements are met
- maintaining minimum stock levels of raw materials- this will include the ordering of all such materials and scheduling of their deliveries to enable smooth production
