Responsibility
- DCS operation and alarm handling
- position: Shift Technician

- reporting to: Shift Team Leader
- diagnose and rectify plant faults
- operation of the EFW and boiler chemistry
- routine plant tasks to be undertaken diligently
- monitor consumable stock levels and supervise bulk deliveries and loading
Requirements
- the ability to understand some HSE legislation relevant to EFW plants
- understanding of safe systems of work i.e. plant isolations and safety documents. Training will be provided within the Lakeside safety rules
- ability to operate overhead cranes and forklift trucks and other plant equipment would be advantageous. Training will be given
- good communication skills at all levels both verbally and written
- be able to demonstrate organisational skills
- have a willingness to operate flexibly over a wide range of work areas
- ability to undertake report writing as required
- ability to think logically and solve problems effectively and efficiently
