- nursery Chef
- to organise, cook and prepare a healthy, balanced diet for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with agreed nursery menus
- take into consideration daily those children who have special dietary requirements and prepare a suitable alternative
- inventory management and stock rotation
- follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas ensuring a high standard of hygiene, health and safety maintained at all times
Requirements
- recognised catering qualification and Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification essential
- good knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
