Responsibility
- apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sanding, and applying bonding agents
- mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
- apply coats of plaster to achieve desired texture and finish
- repair cracks, holes, and other damages in existing plaster
- use hand tools and power tools to shape and smooth plaster surfaces
- follow safety protocols and use protective equipment while working
Requirements
- strong knowledge and experience in plastering techniques and materials
- ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- good physical stamina and ability to work on ladders or scaffolding
- excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise during the plastering process
