Responsibility
- working as a critical team member to build standard and semi-standard equipment
- mechanical prep / build of equipment
- installation of equipment on customer sites in the UK
- working to drawings and ensuring each build is completed to a high standard
- looking after the workshop area, tools, equipment and materials
- tasks will vary from day to day, working on different equipment depending on customer needs and orders
- working closely with the management and design team to streamline the build process and help with constant quality improvement of our products and processes
Requirements
- strong mechanical assembly skills, with a keen eye for quality and detail
- proven experience within a similar engineering role
- in depth understanding of technical drawings and engineering processes
- driving License
- broad range of experience of other mechanical engineering disciplines such as machining or fabrication would be an advantage
- fork Lift Truck qualifications desirable, but not essential
- mechanical engineering: 4 years
