Responsibility

  • install, maintain, or repair plumbing fixtures
  • read blueprints and schematics to determine the need for new construction or repairs of existing construction
  • connect lines from one fixture to another using hand tools or power tools when necessary
  • determine whether or not a new water supply system is needed and build new lines accordingly
  • perform pipe threading when necessary
  • cut and install waste lines using hand tools or power tools when necessary
  • perform inspections during startup/shutdown procedures to ensure that water distribution systems are in working order
  • perform pipe maintenance when necessary
