Responsibility
- class 2 HGV tramper lorry driver based in Doncaster
- we are a small family run company operating 6-10 lorries with good foundations and ambitions for future growth
- we require a Class 2 lorry driver for General Haulage work Monday to Friday with 4 nights away
- the job involves reduced rests and shifts that sometimes reach 14-15 hrs in length when required
- occasionally there may be a roll back in on a Saturday morning, paid extra
- \*\*\*The job is most likely until autumn time/Christmas, but as the company grows there may be the opportunity for the driver to stay with us permanently\*\*\
- the weekly total time on duty is typically between 50 to 66 hours - all hours are paid with no deductions for tacho breaks
Requirements
- valid driving licence cat. C , ideally held for min. 2 years
- valid tacho card
- punctuality and reliability are VERY important as often the jobs are time sensitive
- valid Driver CPC
- preferably clean licence, but no more than 6 penalty points
- driving a HGV: 2 years
- effective communication of any problems and delays with the office so that we can chase the customers up and keep them up to date
