Responsibility

  • knowledge of CAD Programming is advantageous
  • we are looking for an experienced CNC Turner programmer/ setter and operator to join our forward thinking and innovative team at our engineering facility in Newcastle Under Lyme
  • be a time served CNC turner with at least 5 years of turning experience
  • KMF Group is the leading subcontract manufacturer of precision sheet metal components, enclosures, machined components and electro-mechanical assemblies with a Group turnover of £45 million pounds
  • key responsibilities include lathe operating with the ability to interpret Mazatrol grograms, adjust sizes and replace tools, working to tight tolerances, read engineering drawings and self inspect your own work
  • able to create/modify and alter programs using Fanuc/Mazatrol Consoles
  • good understanding of tool setting
  • you will be responsible for supporting programming, setting and operating Mazak Quick Turn , Stars sliding head technology The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Mazatrol and Fanuc Controls as this will be beneficial
