Responsibility

  • we are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Database Administrator to join our team
  • install, configure, and maintain database management systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server, to ensure their seamless operation
  • monitor and optimize database performance, promptly resolving any issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • collaborate with the development team to design and implement effective database schemas, tables, and indexes to support application functionality
  • implement and enforce database security measures, including access controls and regular data backups, to safeguard sensitive information
  • optimize database queries and SQL code for improved system performance and faster response times
  • as a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our database systems to ensure their efficient operation and data integrity
  • provide technical support to users, troubleshooting database-related problems, and providing timely resolutions

Requirements

  • proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role, showcasing hands-on experience in database management
  • solid understanding of database management systems, SQL, and related technologies
  • proficiency in database installation, configuration, and performance tuning
  • knowledge of database security practices and experience implementing access controls
  • familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve database-related issues
  • ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
