Responsibility
- coordinate and execute purchase orders for the procurement of goods and services
- maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, inventory, and suppliers
- monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery, resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise
- collaborate closely with our suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules
- deal with a large variety of suppliers around the world with different processes
- conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services
- assist in the development and maintenance of purchasing policies and procedures
- provide support to other team members and departments as needed
Requirements
- proven experience as a Purchasing Administrator or in a similar role
- excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- strong communication and negotiation abilities
- proficient in using purchasing software and tools
- familiarity with inventory management systems
- ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- flexibility for negotiated remote working arrangements
- flexibility to occasionally travel to our main base in Daventry
