IT Support Engineer London
Kitt designs and operates workspace for the world's most vibrant brands. From managing the design and build, to creating an elevated ongoing experience, we create spaces that are worth leaving home for. The Role As an IT Engineer, you will be out and about at our 50+ sites, saving the day when our clients need IT support. From managing the set-up, installation and maintenance of networks all the way through to implementing security solutions internally, every day will be different! Reporting in to our Head of IT, you will be part of a team that is crucial to the growth and success of the business. Please note that you will be need to be onsite daily in Central London. You will be: Attending client sites and assisting with a range of IT issues including Internet, LAN, WIFI, Printing, AV and Cabling etc. Logging tickets for these issues and resolving them, noting where they are chargeable works and proactively feeding back any process improvements you notice. Assisting with onboarding new buildings / offices & clients - helping with cabling, networking, WIFI, AV etc. as required. Then supporting these technologies throughout the client's time with Kitt. Helping Kitt staff with IT first and second line support needs at our London HQ and at remote sites. Building and maintaining an asset register of Kitt IT equipment, from mobiles to network appliances. Administering and supporting Kitt’s Google Workplace & Microsoft environments including capacity management, threat management, MDM & Anti-Virus. Managing suppliers & IT subcontractors About you You have a good working knowledge of networking concepts - LAN, WAN, Internet, VLan and firewalling. Public vs Private IPs, DHCP, DNS. You’re confident with troubleshooting video conferencing / Zoom equipment We work with Ubiquiti & Meraki, but we encounter lots of other manufacturers too through our client’s networks – J
