Responsibility

  • you must be already based in the uk for this position and available to interview in person in Altrincham
  • we are putting together a team consisting of a head chef and five other senior chefs
  • we are a fresh food pub on the Cheshire/Manchester border just out past Altrincham looking to put together a new team in the kitchen
  • since covid we have noticed a shift in work patterns and priorities within the industry and have taken the opportunity for a cultural reset within our business in order to adapt to a change in focus of work/life balance and offer an alternative to the agency route in offering an attractive proposition to chefs
  • no commis or Cdp's, every chef at the top of their game, able to work across all sections of the kitchen with input on menu development and financial accountability across the kitchen
  • we have a head chef from a two rosette background and are looking to fill the last place on the team
  • reporting to the head chef we expect you to be at the top of your game in terms of cooking and kitchen management
  • the position will suit a senior sous chef or maybe a current head chef who's looking to step up into a more demanding kitchen environment
