Requirements
- minimum five years’ experience in a similar environment and position
- ideally qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery, or similar
- level 3 Food Safety Award
- level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace Award
- strong influencing, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
- positive, hands-on, can-do attitude with a willingness to innovate and continually improve
- knowledge of and the ability to produce foods of various ethnicities
- previous experience in South Asian cuisines
Responsibility
- attend all relevant management meetings and hold monthly mandatory kitchen team meetings and address all issues that arise
- monitor and consistently review financial performance and KPI’s, and develop dynamic action plans to redress concerns and improve financial performance
- effectively monitor stock levels and place orders accordingly using nominated suppliers
