Requirements
minimum five years’ experience in a similar environment and position
ideally qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery, or similar
level 3 Food Safety Award
level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace Award
strong influencing, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
positive, hands-on, can-do attitude with a willingness to innovate and continually improve
knowledge of and the ability to produce foods of various ethnicities
previous experience in South Asian cuisines
Responsibility
attend all relevant management meetings and hold monthly mandatory kitchen team meetings and address all issues that arise
monitor and consistently review financial performance and KPI’s, and develop dynamic action plans to redress concerns and improve financial performance
effectively monitor stock levels and place orders accordingly using nominated suppliers
