Responsibility
- enhance accuracy of financial information through guidance and training directly to colleagues in other departments
- ensure all reports comply with accounting principles Internal Financial Reporting Standards
- assist the board with business strategy when required
- advise MD on commercial issues like tax planning, corporate governance, commercial opportunities
- manage ad-hoc financial projects, initiatives, and special assignments as needed
- provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements
- ensure compliance with tax regulations , accounting standards, and other financial regulations, and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders as needed
Requirements
- working towards or completed a CIMA qualification or similar approved
- an accurate level of reporting is required at every level
- to be able to communicate clearly with Finance & Management personnel
- A clear consistent approach is required
