Responsibility

  • contracted hours are 35-40 per week, the rota is over 7 days with weekends off on rotation

  • preparing and cooking fish and chips and other menu items to company spec and highest standards
  • preparing the the store for opening
  • managing the oils and frying range
  • we have exciting opportunity for a experienced chef to join the friendly team at award-winning Kingfisher Fish & Chips in Plympton, no experience needed when it comes to fish frying as full training can be provided
  • as a Chef/Cook , your responsibilities will mainly include preparing and cooking all menu items in line with the company’s methods of production and procedure for quality control you will be helping your management team ensure that you and your colleagues deliver food and service that goes above and beyond our customers’ expectations
  • supporting good food hygiene practices
