- we are a recruitment agency acting on the behalf of a successful volunteer-led, family focused charity, based in Portsmouth
- we are looking for an experienced professional for the newly created role of Business Support Manager
- fulfilled correctly, this exciting new role in turn creates the platform from which all client services can be effectively delivered
- they are committed to making a profound difference in the lives of thousands of local families and their mission is to ensure children get the best start in life
- they understand that parenting can be challenging and work alongside parents to provide an essential network, practical skills and support both in family homes and out in the community
- additionally, the role carries the departmental budget and is the co-ordination and escalation point for HR, governance and safeguarding related issues
- having recently won a bid with Portsmouth City Council, they are able to extend their services and are creating a new team to support them in doing so
- this is a vital management role in our senior leadership team which will enable the charity to deliver its front-line services by ensuring all ‘back-office’ business functions are consistently and effectively delivered
