Responsibility

  • as a Deputy Manager you’ll be an ambassador for our values and a gate keeper for our great culture

Responsibility

  • setting up – you’ll help to create inspiring learning places, utilising indoor and outdoor space
  • maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen – Take ownership for the kitchen and its upkeep, make sure that it is a clean and hygienic place for children and staff’s meals to be served and prepared
  • any other duties as reasonably requested by the nursery staff
  • serving snacks and meals – Starting with breakfast you’ll make sure that healthy snacks and meals are provided for everyone in the setting. External caterers will provide main meals, but you will serve and compliment them with healthy snacks
  • tidying up – Making sure that bins are empty, surfaces are clean, things are put away in the right places and washing and laundry is done at the end of each shift
  • hosting meal times – children learn all the time and meal times provide a great opportunity for this, we’d love you to get involved in educating our children about the food they eat
  • team Player – be part of a fantastic team and forge great relationships within your team and everyone in the nursery setting
  • welcome spaces – make sure that our front of house is inviting, and welcoming, fresh flowers are put out, shoes are tided away and coats are hung up
