  • responsibilities and Duties
  • as a member of the Production Team, the Junior QA Tester will report to the Development Manager and work collaboratively with the wider QA and Development colleagues to develop skills in testing our software following all standard testing processes
  • the successful applicant will be passionate about starting a career within the software industry, showing drive, ambition and commitment to the role and the studies that come with an apprenticeship

Requirements

  • test and verify the functionality and usability of web applications through manual and / or automated testing methods
  • collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • learn and apply software testing concepts and methodologies under the guidance of senior QA testers
  • create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • identify and report defects, bugs, and other issues using Jira
  • participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide regular status updates on testing progress
  • document and maintain test cases, test data, and test results for future reference
  • collaborate with developers to reproduce and debug reported issues
