- an understanding of basic Customs Protocols would be an advantage, both UK/ROI and UK/EU Mainland
- A previous role with some supervisory/team management aspects would be seen favourably
- transport Management CPC is not a requirement for the role, but the candidate should have a working knowledge of Tachograph Regulations, as they relate to driving hours and legal breaks
- previous experience dealing with temperature controlled or pharmaceutical goods would be an advantage but is not a requirement. Training will be provided in this area for compliance purposes
