Responsibility

  • we would like to introduce a new head chef and kitchen manager to our kitchen staff team
  • we are looking to employ someone for the position of grill chef
  • the position will also require an understanding of stock ordering and rotation, food hygiene, and quality assurance for food presentation
  • A level 2 Food safety certificate is ideal but can be obtained during employment
  • the position available covers 3-4 days of the week, 1 of which is a weekend shift
  • A trial period of 13 weeks is in place
  • the ideal candidate should fit into a leadership role, be reliable, punctual, work well under pressure, and have prior experience working in a kitchen environment
  • the job role includes food preparation and service in an often busy pub kitchen, the candidate must know how to conduct themselves around industrial kitchen equipment
