  • engage in social activities and provide companionship
  • monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • maintain a clean and safe environment for the individual

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent

Requirements

  • previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
  • ability to communicate effectively with individuals of different backgrounds and abilities
  • compassionate and patient demeanor
  • ability to work independently or as part of a team
