Responsibility
- liaising with the client, attending meetings, managing expectations and working collaboratively to deliver the project
- having main responsibility for delivering complex capital projects from ECI stage to completion and handover
- planning and maximising the efficient use of resources including direct labour, subcontractors, specialist subcontractors, plant, and all other resources
- engagement with and management of all stakeholders
- maximising profitability and client satisfaction
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar role overseeing major highways projects including all elements of civil engineering, highways and infrastructure
- very good knowledge of procurement processes and contractual arrangements
- very good understanding of highway works specifications, sustainability requirements, and quality assurance processes
- familiarity with transportation infrastructure and maintenance practices
- relevant professional certifications or qualifications
- proven experience in project management delivering similar large scale highways : infrastructure projects
