Responsibility
care planning and other statutory administrative duties
to be aware of the children's and young people's leisure and recreational needs and preferences within organisational policies and guidelines
to communicate all concerns to the registered manager with regards to the children and young people's physical, psychological or emotional needs
to be accountable for budgets allocated for specific purposes including distribution and recording whilst on shift
Requirements
candidate must be able to work shifts including alternate weekends
to work with integrity and honesty
ability to drive is preferred but not necessary
to maintain and maintain appropriate boundaries with the young people and colleagues
to show tolerance, compassion, warmth and empathy towards the young people
all staff working in a residential setting must possess NVQ3 / QCF level 3 qualification or be willing to work towards the Children's workforce development pathway. Full training is provided
to provide a caring and supportive environment for children and young people who respect and affirm their racial, cultural and religious identities and lifestyles
to ensure the rights and needs of children and young people are as fully as possible this includes their spiritual, intellectual cultural and social needs
