Responsibility

  • follow the standards set out by OFSTED and have extensive knowledge of Safeguarding children
  • the ability to provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children and plan age-appropriate activities following the children’s interests
  • develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early learning needs
  • read, understand, and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to your role and the safe running of the setting
  • buddle Nurseries is actively recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to work at Keep Fit Day Nursery located within Total Fitness Gym, Stockton
  • create and maintain a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nursery
  • the Deputy Manager will be able to provide professional leadership and management in the absence of the Nursery Manager, to effectively manage the day- to day running of the nursery and to continue to deliver the highest standards of care and education
  • promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
