Requirements

  • writing data pipelines, working alongside Data Scientists/Business/Actuarial to deliver end to end use cases
  • excellent hands on experience with Spark, Databricks and other suitable Big Data Technologies
  • devising and implementing master data management processes, including classification, security, quality, ethical principles, retrieval and retention processes
  • designing components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns and methodology
  • investigating corporate data requirements, and applies data analysis, design, modelling, and quality assurance techniques, to establish, modify or maintain data structures
  • developing and maintaining specialist knowledge of database and data warehouse concepts, design principles, architectures, software and facilities
  • experience in cloud data migrations and pipeline build with analytical and cloud technologies and tools such as Azure & GCP including languages such as SQL, Python, PySpark
  • ability to grasp challenges for business stakeholders and looking for their solutions
