Responsibility
- you will work closely with colleagues across the business, maintaining clear communication and collectively delivering an efficient transport operation
- previous experience of working in 3PL or transport is essential to be considered for this opportunity
- my client is based on the outskirts of King’s Cliffe and is looking to recruit a Transport Coordinator to join their team
- this is a key role within a busy ecommerce business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of all transport activity, ensuring parcels and pallets are collected and transported successfully
- you will be the main point of contact for third party couriers and hauliers; ensuring operations run efficiently, managing key relationships, overseeing any problems/disputes and analysing and negotiating on costs
- this is a really good opportunity to take ownership of this role. You will have the support of senior colleagues around you and development will be encouraged
- have you previously worked in 3PL? Do you have experience of working closely with hauliers and couriers? If so, this could be a great opportunity
