Responsibility
- design, develop and review of digital and analogue circuits, including embedded microcontrollers, motor control, analogue conditioning and communications
- selecting appropriate technologies, architectures and components
- work with the wider team to create, agree and take ownership of the product development plan
- provide support to production and systems integration teams, off-site suppliers and customers
- testing and debugging of designed circuits to validate functionality
- integration of complete prototypes within a larger system, specifying enclosures, wiring and connectors
- investigate product failures to understand the root cause and identify any necessary actions
- work closely with mechanical and firmware engineers to ensure requirements and constraints are considered
