Responsibility

  • design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on GCP
  • implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools
  • automate Infrastructure as Code processes using Terraform and other automation tools
  • monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and availability
  • with travel being back for good and the multi-day sector catching up with increasing demand, as an established tech company that has one decade of experience in the field, our team is and will be growing
  • create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes
  • we welcome applications from high-potential candidates with varied experiences and skills and we are always excited when applicants bring in expertise from the travel sector

Requirements

  • we are looking for a Senior Engineer with extensive experience on Google Cloud Platform and/or other cloud platforms
  • the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure that supports our clients' software applications
  • the ideal candidate will have expertise in Terraform, some knowledge of AWS and experience using Java and Python
  • for this role, the candidate will live close to one of our offices in Reading or Bristol or able to travel to those locations for team events and meetings
