Responsibility

to use interpersonal skills to work as an effective member of the team whilst being clearly focused on achieving planned deadlines

to work closely with the commercial, sales, and operational teams, to deliver effective designs and installed solutions for customers to tight deadlines
to follow the NPD process and ensure design projects are delivered on time, liaising with the Production team to ensure NPD is Designed For Manufacture

Requirements

A BSc/BEng degree related to Product Design / Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
previous experience in a similar role is preferable
A minimum of 5 years lighting industry experience
good experience in using 3D design packages
an understanding of Lighting Design
must be an excellent face to face communicator
telephone communication skills of a high standard
