Working hours

Responsibility

  • general bookkeeping postings and journal entries
  • preparation and processing of invoices, administer accounts receivable
  • prepare and process POs, oversee and process accounts payable
  • process expense claims and credit card reconciliations
  • set up and manage new vendors and clients’ accounts
  • communicate with vendors and clients on billing matters
  • assist in monthly filings and remittances
  • assist with preparation of financial reports and support monthly close process

Requirements

  • degree or diploma in accounting or financing or other relevant field, and/or at least 2 years of equivalent working experience
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • high attention to detail and strong accounting skills
  • able to manage priorities and to handle multiple tasks while ensuring all are delivered as scheduled. Able to maintain confidentiality
  • experience in the construction industry or knowledge of
  • solid understanding of basic accounting principles, familiarity of IFRS principles Extensive Knowledge of Xero Accounting Software , Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar accounting software system
  • bookkeeping: 3 years
