general bookkeeping postings and journal entries
preparation and processing of invoices, administer accounts receivable
prepare and process POs, oversee and process accounts payable
process expense claims and credit card reconciliations
set up and manage new vendors and clients’ accounts
communicate with vendors and clients on billing matters
assist in monthly filings and remittances
assist with preparation of financial reports and support monthly close process
Requirements
degree or diploma in accounting or financing or other relevant field, and/or at least 2 years of equivalent working experience
excellent verbal and written communication skills
high attention to detail and strong accounting skills
able to manage priorities and to handle multiple tasks while ensuring all are delivered as scheduled. Able to maintain confidentiality
experience in the construction industry or knowledge of
solid understanding of basic accounting principles, familiarity of IFRS principles Extensive Knowledge of Xero Accounting Software , Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar accounting software system
