Requirements

  • accreditation
  • facilities Management
  • tertiary qualification, preferably related to facilities management or technical services
  • ideally SITO qualified and SIA licensed
  • ideally a recognised and certificated H&S qualification, experience in responsibility for managing H&S
  • good administrative and IT skills
  • good numeracy skills, experience setting and managing budgets, meeting deadlines and working within financial limits
  • experience of contract procurement and management of contractors

Contract type

  • assist with tendering, awarding and supervision of all service contracts by central procurement
  • ensure all H&S and Environmental statutory and the managing agent’s best practice procedures and systems are complied with
  • management of the contracted service teams, through their managers
  • assist in the collation of the annual service charge and monitoring expenditure
  • assist in monitoring income/expenditure derived from the car park including cost control/justification and forecasting
  • assist in monitoring expenditure for non-recoverable costs streams
  • assist with monitoring commercialisation income/expenditure
  • assume the role of Duty Manager when rostered

Responsibility

  • oversee all accident and incident reporting, including insurance and statutory forms and procedures
