proven experience in scheduling or task planning, preferably in grounds maintenance or a related industry
strong organisational and time management skills
excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently
attention to detail and problem-solving skills
knowledge of geography of Cornwall and West Devon
knowledge of grounds maintenance or tree surgery an advantage
Responsibility
resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate equipment, tools, and labour resources
schedule Management: Maintain the schedules on the database system, ensuring efficiency and optimization
communication: Liaise with teams, supervisors, site inspectors and management to communicate schedules, expectations, and any changes
reporting: Generate regular reports on grounds maintenance schedules, resource utilization, and budget performance for management review
customer Relations: Address any scheduling-related inquiries or concerns from customers in a professional and customer-oriented manner
schedule Maintenance Tasks: Plan and schedule grounds maintenance activities, based on contract requirements and resource availability. Enter details onto a work scheduling app to be automatically visible to field teams
