- you will be working on all makes and models of vehicle, doing everything from fitting tyres to cam belts
- you will be expected to work productively as the volume of work changes
- you will be expected to listen to and respect the workshop/garage manager
- you will need to be confident enough to work independently on certain jobs - the role is challenging and exciting, so there are always opportunities to improve skills
- however, a big part of the job is working with other mechanics and admin/reception staff so there is always support from a senior employee. Working as a team is essential to ensure the smooth running of the workshop
Requirements
- experience working in a garage
- experience working as a semi-skilled technician
- have achieved Level 2/3 qualification
- have achieved Level 2 qualification, working towards Level 3
