  • know how to operate many different types of machines including punching, shearing, and blasting machines
  • perform routine maintenance on fabrication machines
  • be able to read blueprints and schematics in order to set up machine operations
  • be familiar with all of the materials that are available for use on the manufacturing floor
  • use personal protective equipment properly
