Responsibility
- preparing IO Schedules from Client provided information and discussions
- writing detailed Function Design Specifications from User Requirement Specifications, Control Philosophies or Customer discussions
- development of System Architecture, network connections and an understanding of cybersecurity
- development, modification and testing of PLC, HMI & SCADA software
- witness testing with clients
- site commissioning which may require periods away from home dependent on the project
- honest and polite, able to work closely with customers both new and old with good working practises whilst on site
- A degree of autonomy to manage own projects and liaising with customer
Requirements
- previous control system experience
- allen Bradley / Siemens / Mitsubishi / Schneider PLCs
- experience in full life cycles of projects from preparing design documents to site commissioning
- full driving license and willingness to drive to customer sites around the country as required
- strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage own workload
