- post Graduate experience working in a PICU setting
- neuro, Cardiac or General ITU/HDU specific skills and experience
- experience in the field of Cardiology Nursing or Hepatobiliary
- surgical, Medical or Oncology experience is a must
- experience of working within the Clinical Nurse Specialist role or Associate Clinical Nurse
- customer care skills and Ability to prioritise work load
- completed Critical Care Course, ideally 60 Credits
- recognised teaching, assessing, mentoring qualification
- understanding of Safeguarding issues
- motivated and forward-thinking individual with excellent communication skills
- ability to recognise surgical complications
- post graduate experience relevant to Orthopaedics
- extensive experience within Cancer specialty Evidence of continuing professional
- teaching and mentoring experience desirable
- excellent communication skills with good time management and prioritisation skills
- knowledge of relevant NMC/national guidelines, policies and procedures
- evidence of management experience / training
- completion of a PICU Course that is equivalent to 60 credits
- practice Assessor Course
- skilled in Phlebotomy / Cannulation / Care of CVADs/ IV administration
- excellent written and verbal communication
- phlebotomy training desirable
