Responsibility
- assemble and install heating systems according to specifications
- plumb heating pipes and fittings to ensure proper flow and efficiency
- operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations and repairs
- conduct routine maintenance checks on heating systems to ensure optimal performance
- perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of equipment and components
- troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning heating systems, utilising mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues
- collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently
- maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Requirements
- proven experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry
- strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand complex heating systems
- familiarity with commercial driving regulations is advantageous for transporting equipment as needed
- basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations
- plumbing: 5 years
- work will mainly be based within a 30 mile radius of Hoddesdon
