  • at Ye Olde Jolly Sailor we are looking for a Second Chef to progress our ever-growing reputation
  • the ideal candidate will have enthusiasm, vision and passion to continue to deliver our high standards
  • the role is very hands-on and extremely varied, so your kitchen skills will be of paramount importance
  • you’ll be expected to operate the kitchen to an exceptional standard and produce outstanding results in a respectable time frame
  • if you're a chef, passionate about producing consistently brilliant traditional pub food with a updated specials board each week, within a fast paced and high-volume kitchen, then we would love to hear from you
  • you'll ensure all dishes are prepared and served according to specification
  • you’ll use your own initiative and demonstrate previous success of maintaining excellent kitchen performance
  • it is essential that as our Second Chef you have an outgoing personality, exceptional organizational & communication skills, a level of excellence in health and safety/hygiene regulations, deliver exceptional food and adhere to exceptionally high standards of service
